Dog vegetarian Treats Online



Dog vegetarian treats are those food treats which just include vegetables, healthy fruits and fish for dogs. There have always been a common debate over this topic that whether dogs should be treated omnivorous or carnivores and what they should be fed. So many people opt for vegetarian treats for their treats though dogs are categorized into carnivorous family physically yet dogs have developed the ability to eat vegetables and fruits biologically.
Even the Biologically Approved Raw Food association, the BARF, has provided guidelines that dogs should be given vegetables and fruits within their diet for better health and fitness. Some of the vegetables and fruits mentioned in these guidelines are described below along with brief information of their nutrient value.
  • Melon – High water content and rich source of Vitamin B – 6 and Vitamin C
  • Broccoli – Rich in Folic acid, Fiber content and Vitamin A, C and D
  • Spinach – High iron content, good for bones
  • Apple – Rich source of vitamins and iron
  • Celery – Ardent source of Sodium, Calcium and Vitamins like A, B and C
  • Carrot - Rich in Vitamins and Beta Caroline. Also the crunchiness makes teeth strong and clean.
  • Pears  - High Fiber content and great source of Vitamin C
